This is a wonderful initiative. It is heartwarming to see Raa Meedhoo creating a living collection of memories and messages from everyone whose life has been touched by the island. I was fortunate to grow up in Raa Meedhoo, and many of my happiest memories were made there. It is where many of my loved ones still are, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. What has always made Meedhoo unique is not only its beauty, cleanliness but its people. It is an island that genuinely values social progress and community spirit. The dedication of its volunteers, community groups, and NGOs has always been inspiring. They have consistently done far more than what could ever be expected, simply because they care deeply about their island and the people who call it home. I hope its strong sense of community in the island continues to inspire future generations.
